I have been teaching maths for 30 years at various levels within the university sector. I have taught at various UK universities such as Brunel University, City University, London, and the University of Westminster. I have also taught at two American universities in London. As a whole I have taught maths to first and second year mathematics, engineering, and computer science students, as well as MBA and liberal arts students.

Since 2001 I have been at University Collge Londong teaching maths on the UPCSE foundation course in UCL's Institute of Education. Also, since 2016 I have been teaching a communication-in-mathematics course on UPCSE as well as a scientific communication course on the IPM (a pre-master’s course).

All of these courses cater to international students so I have taught students from a wide variety of nationalities such as Saudi Arabia, UAE, Yemen, Iran, Iraq, China, Japan, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Argentina, and Japan.

I have an BSc in mathematics, an MSc in numerical analysis and a PhD in mathematics education which focused on the topic of reading-to-learn mathematics.
